Plan Bangladesh is going to implement a project on Human Resources for Health in Bangladesh (HRH) funded by Canadian International Development Agency. The goal of the project is to improve maternal and neonatal health status of disadvantaged women, girls and boys in Bangladesh. The project aims at increasing awareness of and access to skilled birth attendants at the community level through supporting government's strategy for increasing the number of trained Community Skilled Birth Attendants (CSBAs). The project will be implemented in nine districts of Rangpur, Dhaka and Barisal divisions. We are inviting applications for the following positions in this project:

Project Coordinator - Human Resources for Health
Based Dhaka + Consolidated Monthly Salary Tk. 56,348.00 + 4 years' employment contract.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for assisting implementation of behavior change communications (BCC) and referral linkage development component of the HRH project through partners. On a regular basis, you will ensure technical supports and monitor the partners engaged in piloting of BCC activities to promote skilled birth attendants services at the community level and develop functional referral linkage for maternal and newborn complications; increase knowledge and skills of government and NGO health workers in behavior change communications on maternal, neonatal, children health and reproductive health issues. Alongside you will prepare budget and manage resources; provide supports for capacity building of partners including relevant local govt. bodies; prepare reports and project documentation; and maintain a health network that includes GO, NGOs and other organizations. For this role, you should have MPH plus at least three years' experience in partner management focusing health programs. Facilitation skills, strong computer literacy and good communication skills both in Bangla and English are essential requirements. The position requires extensive field visits.

Training Coordinator - Human Resources for Health (2)
Based in Dhaka/Saidpur + Consolidated Monthly Salary Tk. 56,348.00 + 4 years' employment contract.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be mainly responsible for coordinating the government and NGO/private Community Skilled Birth Attendants (CSBA) training under HRH project. You will be coordinating and facilitating the selection of government and NGO/private participants for CSBA training following national standard selection criteria; maintaining liaison with relevant line Directors' office at DGHS and DGFP. On a regular basis, you will ensure technical supports to the partners engaged in CSBA training; conduct TOT programs; monitor quality and effectiveness of the CSBA training program; prepare training budgets; prepare reports and project documentation. For this role, you should have MBBS and MPH with 3 years' experience in conducting training programs on maternal, neonatal, child health and reproductive health issues. You must possess excellent session conduction skills with a demonstrated ability to use a wide range of visual aids. Experience of working with government will be preferred. This position requires 50% time in the field and ability to work with a very professional team and partner organizations.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the M&E framework of Human Resource for Health project; providing technical assistance to team members in collecting and analyzing data; assisting consultants/team leaders to design and carry out different surveys and gathering secondary data for the project from different sources; developing annual work plan including budget for M&E; preparing periodical monitoring reports and sharing findings of M&E with concerned management and team members; conducting field visits for implementing community-led monitoring plans; and supporting team members to take appropriate measures based on field findings. Specialist - Maternal, Neonatal and Children Health

Reporting to the Advisor - Community Managed Health Program, you will be responsible for providing technical inputs to the project implementation teams with regard to Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH). You will ensure that program/project implementation plans are technically appropriate and feasible in country context; progress indicators are measured and analyzed; constraints are identified and supported; partners are supported with capacity building interventions; and project managers are assisted in maintaining compliances for quality and continuum of care. For this role, you should have at least five years' experience in designing/implementing health projects covering MNCH.
