Communications Coordinator Job in Plan Bangladesh

Plan works with over one million children, their families and communities in 50 developing countries around the world, implementing projects at the grass root and national level in health, education, water and sanitation, income generation and cross cultural communication. Plan is registered with the United Nations following recognition in 1989 and has consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council and UNICEF. We are inviting applications for following positions:

Communications Coordinator
Based in Dhaka/Jaldhaka, Nilphamari + Consolidated Monthly Salary Tk. 45,078.00 - 56,000.00

Reporting to the Assistant Manager- Communications, you will develop annual plan on communications for the Program Unit; design and organize various campaigns for all programs and projects at program unit; facilitate media visits; develop, nurture and institutionalize youth media; and carry out communications during disaster response initiatives taken by the program unit For this role, you should have Master's degree preferably in Communications /English with minimum two years' experience gained in any development organisation. Your experience must include writing stories, developing communication materials and coordinating media activities. This position requires extensive field visits. The Communications Coordinator based in Jaldhaka will have to drive motorbike for field visits.
