PhD Scholarship for Sayed Momena Montaj Foundation in Bangladesh (bd)

Applications are invited from the suitable candidates who are interested to persue PhD studies under the Sayed Momena Montaj Foundation’s education and Career Development Programe in the areas of agribusiness; agro input production, marketing, distribution and their management. Initially 03 (three) scholarships will be offered in the field of (i) seed production and quality control; (ii) application and efficient management of pesticides, herbicides and plant growth regulators and (iii) fertilizer and water management.

Qualification and Experience: The candidates should be research scientists or management specialists and have excellent academic career with bachelor and master degrees in agriculture from recognized agricultural universities. They should have at least 5 years research and field experiences in the above mentioned areas. They should be not more than 35 years of age.

Preference will be given to those candidates who have research publications in scientific journals and capability of writing good scientific report.

For (i) the candidates should have Master degrees either in Plant Breeding and Genetics or Agronomy with specialization in seed technology and quality control.

For (ii) the candidates should have Master degrees either in Entomology or Plant Pathology with specialization in pest control.

For (iii) the candidates should have Master degrees either in Social Science or Agronomy/Irrigation and Water Management with specialization in fertilizer and water management.
