Job Title: Assistant Manager – Maintenance
Job Purpose:
To provide a specialist technical engineering assistance in the field of mechanical and associated systems maintenance site-wide in areas of purchasing, parts management, servicing, troubleshooting and repairs within cGMP environment to support the operational requirements.
Major Accountabilities:
A Maintaining an efficient mechanical maintenance documentation System.
Writing of applicable SOPs and Work Instructions for required preventive and corrective maintenance on all types production equipment.
Identification and rectification of equipment problems faced to complete corrective maintenance safely and timely within cGMP environment.
Ensures the completing of associated documentation with strict adherence to guidelines and current practices.
Identifies opportunities and initiates reliability and improvement projects, spare parts decisions, recognizes and initiates optimization opportunities and systems supporting Process Orientated Organization.
Oversees works performed by external maintenance service contractors on required basis and supports utilities equipment operation and maintenance on needed basis.
Supports total productive maintenance concept and provides inputs in selection of equipment.
Participates in change control process by way of reviewing, commenting and working closely with QA for approval.
Provide engineering and maintenance support to the Engineering Technicians in his/her areas of competence.
Job specification:
B.Sc. in engineering (electrical & electronics/mechanical)
At least eight years of experience in maintenance of Pharmaceuticals production machineries and equipments
Basic HSE knowledge
Basic GMP/QA Knowledge
