CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Bangladesh Mahila Parishad (BMP), a non-government, mass women's organization is looking for suitable professional for the following position for its "Strengthening Local Government through Empowerment of Grassroots Women" project.
1. Admin Director: 1 post
Qualification:
Masters degree in Public Administration, English, Social Science or related field or MBA with major in HRM from any reputed institution.
Experience:
Minimum 6 years working experience as an administrator in a reputed development organization.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- He/she should have leadership quality and must be capable of taking decisions.
- He/she should be co-operative and supportive by nature.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skill.
- Must have the ability to work within deadline and should achieve the targets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Extend administrative support for running the project office smoothly and effectively.
- Responsible for planning project activities, scheduling meetings and liaison with. NGOAB and other organizations.
- Responsible for training his personnel and evaluating their performance. -Guide the project staff to fulfill respective responsibility.
2. Manager (Accounts): 1 post
Qualification:
Masters degree in Commerce/MBA major in Finance or Accounting.
Experience:
Minimum 12 years working experience in a reputed development organization being responsible for Accounting.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure implementation of financial system guided by BMP management.
- Co-ordination of budget preparation for various programs, critically and strategically analyzed draft program budgets, project proposals, various reports for development partners/GoB, NGOAB.
- Arrange regular budget meetings with relevant program personal and to ensure continuous updating of financial management.
- Provide assistance to the external Auditors for the completion of Audit within the stipulated time.
3. Project Coordinator: 1 post
Qualification:
Masters degree in English or Social Science from any reputed institution, I Minimum 5 years working experience in a reputed development organization.
Main Responsibilities:
- To Coordinate the Project Activities
- Implementation of the project activities as per direction of authority.
- Preparation of various reports required by the Development Partners as well as NGOAB.
- Preparation of project budget as per consultation with authority.
- Compilation and analysis of various data for use of management.
4. Accounts Officer: 1 post
Qualification:
Masters degree in Commerce/MBA major in Finance or Accounting.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years working experience in a reputed development organization being responsible for Accounting.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular financial transactions of the project effectively.
- Produce all financial statement.
- Provide assistance in preparing annual budget and monitoring budget variance in a timely manner.
- Collect all bank statements and take necessary steps to complete bank reconciliation on right time.
- Provide assistance to external Auditor for completion of Audit within stipulated time.
- Collect all bills and vouchers, verify supplier ledger and taken necessary steps for party payments.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power-Point and Accounting Software mainly Tally.
5. Program Officer: 4 posts
Qualification:
Masters degree in Social Science/Statistics. Age: not above 30 years. Minimum 5 years working experience in a reputed development organization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Executing the project activities and monitoring
- Preparation of program schedule and project progress report
- Issue program notice to different branches and ensure program arrangements within stipulated time.
- Frequent visit to branch offices, identify the weakness and recommend corrective measures.
Requirements for above all posts:
• Age not above 45 years, flexible for experienced person.
• Conceptual clarity in gender equality & movement.
• Efficiency in written and verbal communication both in English & Bengali.
• Proficiency MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power-Point.
