Omera Petroleum Limited, a safety, health & environment compliant organization & a subsidiary of MJL Bangladesh Limited, is setting up a state -of-the-art LPG Import, Storage, Bottling and Distribution Terminal in Different locations of the Country. The Company is now looking for ambitious and motivated individual for immediate appointment to fulfill the following position:

Position: Assistant Manager (Electrical)

Job Description:

The person must be fully proficient at providing direction and coordination of electrical engineering and design during all phases of equipment fabrication from proposal to operation of the equipment. Central responsibility is the engineering, design, check out, and implementation of a properly designed and fully functional electrical system for facilities manufactured by "Client" that meets the customer's requirements. These facilities include Generators, Compressor packages, Transformer, Sub Stations, Machineries and LPG Bottling Plants. The person must have electrical design and engineering experience working on and around these types of facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assists the Project Manager for applications, estimating and proposals by working up cost estimates for electrical equipment and labor man-hours on project proposals.

Generate data sheets/specifications for major electrical equipment items including generators, motor control centers, switchgear, transformers, power supply systems, distribution panels, control panels, control stations, and area lighting. Obtains and evaluates vendor quotations covering vendor inquiries and preparing lowest evaluated vendor costs.

Ability to perform programming, check out and troubleshooting functions for programmable logic controllers (PLCs)

Assists electrical designers in their efforts to generate electrical drawing packages for projects. Responsibilities may also include the checking and approval of these drawings.

Qualification:

5-7 years hands on experience in Reputed Manufacturing Industry preferred in Oil & Gas sector.

Good Analytical, interpersonal and computer literacy is essential.

B. Sc. Engineering (Electrical) with relevant experience from any reputed public university will be preferred.
