Applications are invited for different teaching posts for the following Departments:

1. Department of Civil Engineering (Teachers in any rank).

2. Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Teachers in any rank).

3. Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (Teachers in any rank. Professor/Associate Professor is in the field of Communication or Microelectronics).

4. Department of Mechanical & Production Engineering (Teachers in any rank).

5. Department of Architecture (only Professor).

6. Department of Textile Engineering (only Professor).

7. School of Business (Teachers in any rank in the Finance, Accounting and Management/ HRM disciplines)

Requirements:

a) Candidates for Engineering disciplines must have Bachelor Degree in relevant field with CGPA 3.75 or above out of 4.0. For MPE Department, minimum requirement is CGPA 3.50 or above out of 4.

b) Candidates for Finance, Accounting and Management/ HRM disciplines must have BBA and MBA Degrees with CGPA 3.5 or above out of 4.0 in both the examinations.

For the posts of Assistant Professors and above, sufficient teaching and/or professional experience in reputed universities/organizations, publications in recognized journals as first author and higher degrees depending on the post are also required. CGPA requirement may be relaxed in case of Ph.D. degree holders.

Internal candidates of any department may also apply for higher post.

The Graduates from North American and European renowned universities with at least CGPA 3.5 out of 4.0 may be given preference.

Application deadline: 26 July 2012

A forwarding letter in plain paper along with full CV, copy of published articles/papers, a recent passport size colored photograph and attested copies of all certificates, mark sheets/transcripts, testimonials etc. must reach the Registrar, AUST on or before 26 July 2012.

Only short listed candidates will be called for an interview.
