Accounts Officer in Plan Bangladesh

Plan works with over one million children, their families and communities in 50 developing countries around the world, implementing projects at the grass root and national level in health, education, water and sanitation, income generation and cross cultural communication. We are inviting applications for the following positions in Plan Bangladesh:

Accounts Officer (4 positions)

Based in Dhaka/Saidpur + Consolidated Monthly Salary Tk. 26,770 - 33,462 + Contract employment with yearly renewal opportunity.

Reporting to the Accounts Coordinator you will be responsible for checking bills and making payments; dealing with VAT & tax; validating the movement of payroll; preparing bank reconciliation; recording financial transactions in the corporate system; maintaining filing system; and preparing monthly financial reports. For this role you should have at least Bachelor's degree in accounting with 1-2 years' relevant experience gained in any development organisation. Skills in using spreadsheet and standard accounting software are essential requirements. Communication skills in English would be a plus.
