Job Title: Head of Islamic Banking Division
Responsibilities:
• Review and develop all Islamic Banking Products in a timely & efficient manner
• Develop, recommend and implement Business Development Strategies in order to meet planned and desired business results
• Meet with key clients to develop and maintain relationships; discuss client requirements, negotiate the terms and oversees the transaction as per established policies & procedures
• Review the existing business portfolio to maintain/enhance the asset quality and control the associated risks, whilst exploiting opportunities to maximize revenues
• Identify the segment target market and develop new business to broad base the portfolio and pursue growth opportunities
• Optimize the banks operating model drive operational improvement, business/sales strategy constantly and be a genuine agent of change
• Take the lead in on-line functionality of all products for the Islamic Banking Division
• Maintain good relationship with Islamic Scholars and Shariah Board, Ensure that all the Islamic • Banking and Capital Market Products are in compliance with Shariah requirement
Qualifications:
• Master's in any discipline, However, Master's in Business or Commerce will be preferred
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience directly related to Islamic Banking in a commercial bank
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of Islamic products, Shariah based product structuring capabilities, Islamic Banking Compliance and Procedures.
