The Urban Partnerships for Poverty Reduction Programme (UPPR) is the largest urban poverty reduction initiative in Bangladesh, and one of the largest in the world. The programme aims to improve the living conditions and livelihoods of three million urban poor and extreme poor, especially women and girls, in thirty cities and towns by 2015.
