Head of Legal Affairs & Recovery Department (Senior Assistant Vice President / Vice President)

About the role

You will direct, supervise, control and coordinate all functions of the Legal Affairs and Recovery Depart­ment viz. appointment of Panel Lawyers & Surveyors, filing of suits against defaulting borrowers, follow up of court cases as well as recovery of classified/written off loans, documentations, physical verification of genuineness of mortgaged properties, maintaining liaison with panel lawyers and taking over posses­sion of the property owned / possessed by the Bank, etc.

About you

You should be LLM with LLB (Hon's) with adequate knowledge in Civil and Criminal laws specially Company Act, Artha Rin Adalat, NI Act, Labor Laws, Transfer of Property Acts, having experience as follows: Minimum 14 years for Senior Assistant Vice President and 16 years for Vice President with practical exposure in the Legal department of a reputed commercial Bank or as practicing lawyer in Judge/Supreme Court.

Age

Preferably below 45 years as on April 15, 2012.
