IDCOL is a Public Limited Company and a Non-Bank Financial Institution fully owned by the Government of Bangladesh (GoB). IDCOL is the leader in Energy and Infrastructure Financing in Bangladesh. The Company has disbursed about US$ 400 million in large and medium infrastructure and renewable energy projects. IDCOL works with multi-lateral agencies and development partners, academics, private companies, various NGOs and micro-finance institutions.
IDCOL requires an Executive Director and CEO who will work with Finance Specialists, Engineers, Accountants, Lawyers and Environmental and Social experts.
The Executive Director and CEO will be responsible for supervision of day to day operation and financing activities of IDCOL. S/he will be directly reporting to the Board of Directors.
Qualification
- S/he should have a post-graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or any other related subjects from a globally reputed university.
- S/he must be a person of high integrity, possessing excellent negotiation skills with keen interest in development related works.
- S/he should be below 50 years of age and have at least 10 years of work experience either as Head of the project(s)/business division(s) or at the policy making level overseeing planning, financing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of large physical infrastructure projects and/or institutions engaged in financing energy or other infrastructure projects.
- Experience of working with commercial bank/financial institutions will be requisite for this post.
Time frame
- The CEG will be engaged initially on a fixed three-year contract, and
- The remuneration is minimum BDT 500,000 per month, which is negotiable for highly deserving candidates.
